9. Retreats and Immersive Experiences

9.1 Deposits

All retreat and immersive experience bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your dates, location and all retreat arrangements. Deposit amounts are as specified on the relevant retreat page of our Website.

9.2 Non-Refundable Deposits

Deposits are strictly non-refundable in all circumstances. This is because deposits are used to secure accommodation, curate your bespoke experience and commit the time and resources of the Pure Heart Centre team to your retreat.

9.3 Balance Payment

The remaining balance for all retreats and immersive experiences is due 7 days prior to the retreat commencement date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

9.4 Cancellation by Client — Retreats

  • More than 60 days notice — Balance refunded in full. Deposit forfeited.

  • 30 to 60 days notice — 50% of total retreat investment refunded. Deposit forfeited.

  • Less than 30 days notice or non-attendance — No refund of any amount paid. In exceptional circumstances a credit toward a future retreat may be offered at Pure Heart Centre's sole discretion.

9.5 Cancellation by Pure Heart Centre — Retreats

In the event that Pure Heart Centre cancels a retreat for reasons within our control, all payments including the deposit will be refunded in full. In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disaster, pandemic, government restriction or serious illness of a key facilitator), we will offer a transfer to an alternative date or a credit toward future services. Refunds in these circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

9.6 Bespoke Nature of Retreats

All retreat and immersive experiences at Pure Heart Centre are completely bespoke and designed specifically for each individual or partnership. A significant amount of preparation work is completed by our team before your retreat begins. This is reflected in our cancellation policy and in the non-refundable nature of deposits.

9.7 Accommodation

Where accommodation is included in your retreat package, it is arranged by Pure Heart Centre on your behalf at a carefully selected Gold Coast location. Specific accommodation details will be provided upon confirmation of your booking. Pure Heart Centre is not responsible for any issues arising from the accommodation provider's services beyond our direct control.

Where accommodation is not included in your retreat package, you are responsible for your own accommodation arrangements. Pure Heart Centre is happy to provide recommendations upon request.

10. Practitioner Training and Certifications

10.1 Self-Guided Programs

All practitioner training and certification programs offered by Pure Heart Centre are self-guided — meaning you complete the coursework in your own time and at your own pace. Practical components are included within each program and must be completed to the satisfaction of the program facilitator before certification is granted.

10.2 Certification Requirements

Certification is granted only upon full completion of all required coursework, practical components and any assessment or evaluation required by the program. Pure Heart Centre reserves the right to withhold certification where program requirements have not been met to the required standard.

10.3 Cancellation and Refunds — Training Programs

Once access to a self-guided training program has been granted, refunds are not available. This is because access to the program materials is provided immediately upon payment. This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10.4 Use of Certifications

Upon completion of a Pure Heart Centre certification program, you are permitted to reference your certification in your professional practice in a manner that is accurate, honest and not misleading. You may not represent yourself as affiliated with, endorsed by or operating under the Pure Heart Centre name without our prior written permission.

The Sunday Reiki Healing Circle is a distant energy healing and community support service. It is not a medical, psychological or psychiatric service and is not intended to replace professional health care. Pure Heart Centre makes no guarantee of specific outcomes from participation in the Healing Circle.

12. Scope of Services — Important Limitations

This licence does not extend to teaching, training or certifying others in the methodology without separate written authorisation from Pure Heart Centre.

13.5 Testimonials

By submitting a testimonial or review to Pure Heart Centre you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use your testimonial in our marketing materials, Website and social media channels. We will always seek your permission before using a testimonial with your name attached.

By participating in any Pure Heart Centre service, you agree to:

  • Take full responsibility for your own physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing before, during and after any session, program or retreat.

  • Ensure that any minor in your care who is participating in a Pure Heart Centre program is appropriately supervised and supported before and after the program.

16. Photography and Recording

Pure Heart Centre may photograph or record workshops, education days, events and retreats for documentation and marketing purposes. You will always be notified in advance of any photography or recording. You may opt out at any time by informing your facilitator.
