Holistic Counsellor - Intuitive Therapist · Energy Healer
Hi, I’m Laura Williams. My work is devoted to supporting those who feel deeply, love deeply, and often carry more than their share. Whether you’re supporting a loved one through addiction, caring for a child with differing needs, or navigating the effects of past trauma, I offer a space where you can reconnect with your heart, your strength, and the light within you that may have been hidden beneath the emotional weight you’ve been carrying.
Beyond my professional roles, I’m a single mother, a friend, and someone who is always learning and evolving through life’s experiences, just like you. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me playing pickleball, being a taxi for my kids, practicing yoga, or spending time in nature, especially if it involves a swim in the ocean or a creek. These moments help me reset, clear my energy, and stay grounded and connected.
My relationship with energy and intuition began early. When I was about seven, I took part in a Reiki Level 1 course with my mum, Moira. At the time it all felt completely normal—being around energy work, conversations about spirituality, and being sensitive and tuned in, was simply part of my everyday world.
Things shifted around the time my parents separated. I began to notice the way people sometimes judged or misunderstood my mum for being so open about spirituality and intuition. As a child, that was confusing and uncomfortable to witness, and a part of me quietly decided it might be safer to hide that side of myself. I picked up the belief that if I was openly spiritual or intuitive, I might be judged, alone, or struggle financially. So I did what many sensitive kids do: I tried to tuck that part of myself away. On the outside I got on with life; on the inside, I was hiding a big piece of who I was.
Even while I tried to keep that side of myself quiet, people were always drawn to talk to me. I was often the one others came to; listening, holding space, wanting to help. Being sensitive and intuitive was never something I could truly turn off, and no matter how much I tried to hide it, people still seemed to see it in me.
I also followed my love of freedom and adventure. Becoming an air hostess allowed me to travel, experience different cultures, and feel the expansion that comes from stepping into new places. I loved the synchronicities that often came with travelling too, trusting things to fall into place and noticing how often they did.
In my twenties I married, became a mum, and later went through a divorce.
Becoming a single mother was one of the biggest turning points of my life. Setting boundaries, standing on my own feet and protecting my energy while caring for my kids didn’t come easily; they were big, sometimes messy lessons. But on the other side of that, I began to see my own magic more clearly and started attracting people who could see it too.
As my life shifted, so did my work. I moved away from massage (including Chi Nei Tsang) and started to own my spiritual and intuitive self instead of hiding it in the background. There were still moments of fear — I sometimes worried about how others might perceive it — but over time I realised how deeply I value this work and the perspective I was raised with.
Now I feel genuinely grateful to have grown up with a mother who has done, and still does, her inner work. I don’t want to run from that anymore—I want to live my own version of it.
These days I’m a single mum, co‑parenting, raising my kids, reading, learning, unlearning, and living more in alignment with what I believe. My sensitivity and intuition are no longer something I apologise for; they’re at the heart of how I parent, love and support clients.
Because of everything I’ve walked throughI care deeply about helping women and families.
My story isn’t neat, and I don’t expect yours to be either. But I know you can come home to who you really are, even after years of hiding, and that your sensitivity can become one of your greatest strengths.

Navigating co‑parenting
Someone who loves travel, new experiences and the feeling of freedom that comes with exploring
A woman who values connection, time in nature, deep conversations, personal growth, and the simple moments that help us feel grounded and alive
My family and my own story keep me rooted in what really matters. They’re the reason I care so much about emotional safety, boundaries, communication and living in a way that actually feels true.
When you sit with me, you’re not expected to be “sorted” or “spiritual enough”. You get to be exactly where you are. I’m here as another human—sensitive, intuitive, imperfect—walking beside you as you remember more of who you really are.
When I think of Laura, I don’t just see my daughter or a practitioner on our team. I see a woman who has walked through some very real seasons—love, heartbreak, single motherhood, co‑parenting, rebuilding and choosing again—and has let each of those experiences deepen her compassion rather than close her heart.
I remember her as a little girl sitting in Reiki rooms like it was the most natural thing in the world, and I also remember the years where she shut that part of herself down because life felt too big and too exposing.
There was a time she wanted to be anything but like me, and I fully honour that. What touches me now is how she has slowly found her own way back to her sensitivity and intuition in a way that feels true for her, not as a copy of my path.
What I see in Laura’s work is a soft strength. She doesn’t come in loudly; she meets people quietly, at eye level. She listens in a way that helps you feel safe enough to tell the truth—about your relationships, your exhaustion, your patterns, your fear. She doesn’t rush to offer spiritual clichés but sits with you, feels with you, and then offers gentle, grounded reflections and next steps.
I’ve watched her learn boundaries through lived experience: through becoming a single mum, through choosing healthier relationships, through standing up for what is right for her and her children.
Those lessons are woven into how she now supports other women, single mothers and families moving through addiction. She understands what it means to hold a lot and still try to stay connected to yourself, because she lives that in her own life.
Laura carries our family’s work in her bones, but it now has its own flavour in her.
There is earthiness, humour, a love of adventure, and an honest acknowledgement that life can be messy and beautiful at the same time. I see clients and students relax around her, laugh with her, cry with her, and leave feeling a little lighter and more themselves.
As a mother, I am deeply proud of who she is becoming. As a team, I trust the way she holds people. If you choose to work with Laura, my sense is that you will meet someone who is sensitive, intuitive, grounded and very real, as you remember your own strength and light.
With love,
Moira x
