Intuitive Therapist · Energy Healing & Co-Parenting Specialist

Meet Laura Williams (B.A. Counselling)

I’m Laura Williams—an intuitive therapist, energy healer and I work as a support for addiction and co-parenting, helping both individuals and their families as they move through complex, often tender seasons. Beyond my professional roles, I’m also a single mother, a sister, a partner and a friend—another human learning, loving and evolving in real time, just like you.

A Little of My Story

My relationship with energy and intuition started early. I was about seven when Reiki and spirituality first became part of my world through my mum, Moira. Back then it just felt normal—being sensitive and tuned in was simply who I was.

Things changed around Year 3–4 when my parents separated. A part of me shut down. I picked up the idea that if I was openly spiritual or intuitive, I’d be judged, alone, or never have enough money. So I did what many sensitive kids do: I tried to tuck that part of myself away. On the outside I got on with life; on the inside, I was hiding a big piece of who I was.

As a teenager and into my twenties, I decided I didn’t want to be like Mum. I love her deeply, but her way of living—so open, emotional and spiritual—felt too exposing for me at that stage. I attracted partners who were very clear that they didn’t want me to “turn out like your mum”, and I let that shape my choices.

At the same time, I was always the one people came to, always listening, always wanting to help. Even when I tried to shut it down, being sensitive and intuitive was just… me.

I also followed my love of freedom and adventure. Becoming an air hostess let me travel, see different cultures and feel that sense of expansion that comes from stepping into new places. That time taught me how much I love people—the small conversations, the quiet kindnesses, the way someone softens when they feel safe.

In my twenties I married, became a mum, and later went through a divorce.

Becoming a single mother was one of the biggest turning points of my life. Setting boundaries, standing on my own feet and protecting my energy while caring for my kids didn’t come easily; they were big, sometimes messy lessons. But on the other side of that, I began to see my own magic more clearly and started attracting people who could see it too.

As my life shifted, so did my work. I moved away from massage (including Chi Nei Tsang) and started to own my spiritual and intuitive self instead of hiding it in the background. There were still moments of fear — I’d sometimes try to stop Mum from talking about spiritual things in public because I worried what people would think. Underneath that, though, I was slowly realising how much I actually valued what she carries.

Now I feel genuinely grateful to have grown up with a mother who has done, and still does, her inner work. I don’t want to run from that anymore—I want to live my own version of it.

These days I’m a single mum with a partner, co‑parenting, raising my kids, reading, learning, unlearning, eating more organically and living more in line with what I believe. My sensitivity and intuition are no longer something I apologise for; they’re at the heart of how I parent, love and support clients.

Because of everything I’ve walked throughI care deeply about helping women and families.

My story isn’t neat, and I don’t expect yours to be either. But I know you can come home to who you really are, even after years of hiding, and that your sensitivity can become one of your greatest strengths.

I’m committed to ongoing learning through study, supervision and personal practice, so that the space I hold for you is as clean, grounded and supportive as possible.

Family & Life (the Human Behind the Work)

Outside of sessions and trainings, I am:

  • A mum to two beautiful children, a daughter and sister

  • A partner, navigating co‑parenting and blended family life

  • Someone who loves travel, new experiences and the feeling of freedom that comes with exploring

  • A woman who values simple moments: good food, fresh air, honest conversations, laughter at the end of a long day

My family and my own story keep me rooted in what really matters. They’re the reason I care so much about emotional safety, boundaries, communication and living in a way that actually feels true.

When you sit with me, you’re not expected to be “sorted” or “spiritual enough”. You get to be exactly where you are. I’m here as another human—sensitive, intuitive, imperfect—walking beside you as you remember more of who you really are.

From Moira – the Laura I know behind the work

When I think of Laura, I don’t just see my daughter or a practitioner on our team. I see a woman who has walked through some very real seasons—love, heartbreak, single motherhood, co‑parenting, rebuilding and choosing again—and has let each of those experiences deepen her compassion rather than close her heart.

I remember her as a little girl sitting in Reiki rooms like it was the most natural thing in the world, and I also remember the years where she shut that part of herself down because life felt too big and too exposing.

There was a time she wanted to be anything but like me, and I fully honour that. What touches me now is how she has slowly found her own way back to her sensitivity and intuition in a way that feels true for her, not as a copy of my path.

What I see in Laura’s work is a soft strength. She doesn’t come in loudly; she meets people quietly, at eye level. She listens in a way that helps you feel safe enough to tell the truth—about your relationships, your exhaustion, your patterns, your fear. She doesn’t rush to offer spiritual clichés but sits with you, feels with you, and then offers gentle, grounded reflections and next steps.

I’ve watched her learn boundaries through lived experience: through becoming a single mum, through choosing healthier relationships, through standing up for what is right for her and her children.

Those lessons are woven into how she now supports other women, single mothers and families moving through addiction. She understands what it means to hold a lot and still try to stay connected to yourself, because she lives that in her own life.

Laura carries our family’s work in her bones, but it now has its own flavour in her.

There is earthiness, humour, a love of adventure, and an honest acknowledgement that life can be messy and beautiful at the same time. I see clients and students relax around her, laugh with her, cry with her, and leave feeling a little lighter and more themselves.

As a mother, I am deeply proud of who she is becoming. As a team, I trust the way she holds people. If you choose to work with Laura, my sense is that you will meet someone who is sensitive, intuitive, grounded and very real, as you remember your own strength and light.

With love,
Moira x
